Inspiration....

That's what this weeks Bellariffic Fridays challenge was - an inspiration challenge.

For my card I pulled the flower out of the image and the peachy pink colours.

I stamped Stamping Bella's Scribble Garden onto water mark paper with versafine ink and coloured the image with distress markers and faber castell gelatos.  For the sparkle on the image I used the gelatos.  For the shading I used tumbled glass distress ink.  Instead of using dp I embossed a piece of cardstock then sanded in to soften the colour.

May Your Glass always be Half Full....

Happy Friday - It's a long weekend here and of course there's rain in the forecast!  Really it usually snows in Calgary or the foot hills this weekend so if we just get rain we're lucky!

For my card today I inked up one of my favourite Uptown Girls - Uptown girl Opal the Optimist.

I stamped the image onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with copics.  For the polka dots I used a pink atyou spica pen on the dress and an orange one on the shoes.  The dp is Fancy Pants Hopscotch.   I added some bling along the side.

I decorated the inside of the card for the sentiment.

Let the Sunshine In...

We've had some spectacular weather here so I felt inspired to ink up Sunshiny Flynn from Stamping Bella - of course with the long weekend coming our weather will turn; it's never spectacular on the May long weekend!

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream card stock and coloured with copics.  I inked around the image with antique linen distress ink.  The image is cut with an oval nesties and the balloon is paper pieced.  The dp is Cosmo Crickets Baby Jane.

Sweet Sunday for Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there - I hope you have a wonderful day with your family.

Karen has another fabulous Sweet Sunday sketch for us this week and I didn't use any stamps on my card!

For my card I used MFT's Plentiful Petals die-namics and MFT felt in Bubblegum and Banana Split.  I added a bubblegum button in the centre and the petals are from MFT's Upsy-Daisy die-namics set.  The DP is Carta Bella's So Noted.  For the banner in the corner I used MFT's Fishtail Jumbo Flags Layer Stax.

KRAFTASTIC Friday....

Todays Bellariffic Fridays theme was "Kraftastic"  Use kraft on your card.

For my card I inked on Little Birdie Jane and stamped the image with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest kraft card stock.  I coloured the image with copics, but paper pieced her dress using the dp MME's Lost and Found Union Square.  The sentiment comes with the image.

A Berry Happy Day...

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cardstock and coloured with copics.  I cut the image out with rectangle nesties and shaded around the image with tumbled glass distress ink. The DP is EP's Sweet Girl.

Birthday Wishes

I hope everyone had a great weekend - we had decent weather; then snow again today - the weather has been so CRAZY!!  I hope it gets warm soon!

Today I'm sharing a sweet Stamping Bella image - Izzie has a Prezzie (which is currently on sale at Stamping Bella) 

The image is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest cream cardstock and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her dress, jacket and hairband with the DP MME's "memorable".  For the shading around the image I used antique linen distress ink.  The sentiment is retired stamping bella sentiment.  For the layout I used SC432.

Life is Good on a Sweet Sunday

I'm back today with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch (SSSC183) for this week

For my card I inked up one of Stamping Bella's new Duda stamps.

Life is Good Duda is stamped with memento tuxedo black ink onto bella's bestest white card stock and coloured with copics.  I paper pieced her dress, and paper pieced to pockets and collar on her dress.  The DP is EP's Sweet Girl.  I coloured some clear rhinestones to work with the colours.
